Pranaam Movie Storyline
Ajay Singh is a modest, sincere, and hardworking college student who wants to help his father realise his ambitions. Ajay does this by avoiding all types of distractions. The formerly placid Ajay embarks on a killing rampage following a fortuitous meeting with a local goon and fraudster Gyanu Singh , who is infamous for his participation with the discredited Lucknow University’s leaked exam paper incident. While some refer to him as a victim of fate, others are unforgiving and desperate for his blood for a variety of reasons.

Pranaam Movie Review
For begin, both the background soundtrack and the moments between the father and son are theatrical. No disrespect intended; everyone wishes for a simpler existence and a tight relationship with family members, but what is shown in ‘Pranaam’ is a little too difficult to swallow by today’s standards. Other features of the picture that remind you of a bygone era, which is not meant as a complement, are the cops and villains, who mouth their words in a sing-song manner, and some even just in proverbs, loud, unpleasant, and oh-so-sleazy.
Yes, Rajeev Khandelwal is believable and appealing as the dutiful son and earnest college kid, but what about the part when he plays a gangster? Not at all. Both Atul Kulkarni and Abhimanyu Singh, who play ethically ambiguous officer Rajpal Singh and deceitful goon Gyanu, have done an excellent job in their roles. The female protagonist, Manjari Shukla, plays her part as Ajay’s suffer-in-silence girlfriend and continuous source of support, but her character is quickly forgotten because there is nothing for her in the screenplay.
Simply put, the storyline is a throwback to the 1980s, and the director is a continuous reminder of that era; bland, monotonous, and at times incomprehensible.
