Tadap Movie Storyline
Ishana lives in Mussoorie with his adoptive father, who is referred to as Daddy by everyone. Damodar, a politician running for state office, has Daddy as a personal assistant. Ishana owns a theatre and assists Daddy and Damodar in their political endeavours. Damodar’s daughter Ramisa returns from London, where she has been studies, the day of the ballot papers. Damodar wins the polls, and Ramisa notices him as Ishana is celebrating his triumph. She develops feelings for him. She quickly befriends him and even admits to being drawn to him. Ishana falls madly in love with her and the two begin a passionate romance.
Ramisa informs Ishana that Damodar is adamant about marrying her. She promises Ishana that she would get her father to reconsider his position and that they must not contact for a few days, which he accepts to. Damodar sees them kissing and leaving him at that very time. He and Ramisa’s grandma make the decision to split the lovers apart. Ishana wants Daddy to go see Damodar and persuade him to marry them. Unfortunately, he experiences an accident on his way to Damodar’s residence and has been brought to the hospital. However, Ishana is surprised to learn that Damodar has scheduled Ramisa’s wedding to the person of his choosing, Anurag Mehta, and that when Ishana arrives at the location, he is thrashed by Damodar’s henchmen, and Ramisa is forced to marry and transferred to London.

Tadap Movie Review
The picture falls short on the plot front, making it seem rushed for its running length. While Tadap starts slow before the intermission, it takes off in the second half, exposing spectacular unexpected turns as well as some hefty action sequences. As a spectator, all one can say is that certain sections of this half should have been included into the first half to make for a more riveting viewing.
TADAP starts out with a bang. Ishaan’s entrance, followed by the first battle, sets the tone. The audience will be intrigued as to why Ishana is so enraged and why she has such a loathing for Damodar. A few flashback moments stand out, but the first half of the film is lacklustre and clichéd. The second half begins nicely, but loses momentum after a point. Ishana’s obsession with Ramisa and attempts to kidnap her irritates viewers. The story’s twist, luckily, rescues the day. The last battle and the conclusion will split the audience.
