Arsalan Jamshed Ali and Ajiya Nazakat Ali, two cousins who reside in a joint family and have exchanged vows (Nikaah), do not yet live together because their wedding and Rukhsati have not yet taken place. Due to personality conflicts, neither Jiya nor Arsal want to get married, but they are compelled to by their dying grandfather’s family. Jiya has aspirations of continuing her education after receiving her BBA at the London School of Economics. The grandmother of Arsal and Jiya is Bi Jaan, the leader of the family. She has three children: a daughter, Masooma, who is wed to Jalal Khan, two boys, Jamshed Ali and Nazakat Ali. They are Peshawar-based.

Suno Chanda Drama Series Review
Only language speakers will be able to fully appreciate this programme. In translation, a lot of irony and odd speech might be missed. As Arsal’s mother, Shanno is both unmatched and mysterious. Everyone in this production gives performances that are so strong as an ensemble that you will remember their roles for a very long time. This programme is a must-see for fun family entertainment. Also deserving of praise is the dialogue writer, who continually produced humorous lines.
DJ’s persona is funny, and the young actor Sami who plays him is perfect in the part. I am quite impressed by his performance since he is a natural actor who constantly likes and does honour to any role that is given to him. From all those comedic drama serials that largely depend on subpar humour, Suno Chanda is a welcome change. It is clever, funny, interesting, and absolutely worth seeing!
