Uppena Movie Storyline
Since he was a youngster, Aasi has had a crush on Babamma alias Sangeetha (Krithi). He follows her as they get older. They come from many walks of life. If Aasi is the son of a poor fisherman, Babamma is the college-bound daughter of a wealthy man called Rayanam (Vijay Sethupathi), who is as merciless in his pursuit of his desire of constructing a fishing yard and maintaining his caste status. Rayanam, as predicted, becomes enraged when he learns about his daughter’s romance. What exactly does he do? Will Aasi be able to withstand his rage?

Uppena Movie Review
Scenes with Vijay Sethupathi, whose portrayal is enamoured with status and ego, could have been much superior. The second half of the film is fast-paced , and the ending tries to catch you off guard. Despite its shock value, though, it isn’t really disturbing. Is it because a few overzealous viewer determined that the core of the storey was known long before the film’s release.
The acting is excellent. Vaisshnav Tej makes a spectacular entrance with a polished performance. When it’s necessary, he demonstrates weakness. When he grins brightly, he is adorable. He has no trouble delivering the lines and doesn’t seem to be struggling in any way. Krithi Shetty has a significant part in the film and has a voice in the love narrative. She becomes a true star in this manner. Her deceptive grin is a plus, and when she tears, she is believable.
