Astha and Peeplika are the main characters in this tale of two women, which is set in the 1990s. Astha is a devout housewife and mother. Being an unorthodox artist, Peeplika has never been impressed by daily routines.  Astha embarks on a self-discovery quest and encounters Peeplika along the way. When Astha discovers a deep connection with Peeplika, something she had always yearned for, she frees herself from the constraints and expectations of society. All of this occurs in the middle of riots that broke out after the country was appalled by the destruction of the Babri Masjid.

The Married Woman Web Series Review

When examining the intriguing triangle involving Astha, Hemant, and Peeplika, the unnecessarily prolonged slow-burning strategy is most effective. The marriage of Astha is neither awful nor wonderful. The few advantages and several disadvantages of the socially approved relationship come to light as she walks away from Hemant.  Suhaas Ahuja does a great job portraying the carelessly nasty and stupid husband who treats his wife with condescension and writes off her emotions as a brief case of temporary insanity.

It’s a wise choice to portray Monica Dogra as the independent thinker. Dogra makes the most of her little acting abilities while relying on her camera-friendly demeanor and ease in the role she portrays.
