Paridhi and his team of police officers, which includes Karuppu, Uthaman, and others, are conducting the investigations. A slew of unanticipated incidents greets them as they begin their search for the murderer. What was the conclusion of the police investigation and who is accountable for the killings that took place in the village?

Vilangu Web Series Release and OTT Response

The seven-episode new series debuted on Zee5 on February 18, 2022. It’s intriguing that the creators decided to examine the killer’s motivations for his killings, even if it came fairly late in the series. The author successfully explains where he comes from and why he becomes an outlaw without defending his horrific crimes. The performer deserves praise as well since he or she plays the part flawlessly. The actor’s everyman appearances allow him to avoid the attention of onlookers, which is another example of excellent casting.

Vilangu Web Series Review

This series can only be addressed as impressive.  By itself, Paridhi’s characterisation is pretty fascinating. He lacks any notable superpowers and is more like the neighbor who decided to join the police. All of our lives may be related to him. In addition to Paridhi, the adversary, Ineya, and Bala Saravanan’s personalities are also beautifully developed. Even many unfamiliar faces, notably the officers at the police station, gave a performance that seemed extremely natural. That does not imply that the writing is error-free. There are a few small faults with the series, but not many.

One of the problems is that police officers are often filmed torturing all of the accused, even if they haven’t committed any crimes. In other words, the sole method of inquiry used by the police when they have even the smallest question about a person is to beat them. And the series’ repeated occurrence of this makes it seem monotonous.

Overall, Vilangu is a well written whodunit thriller with a strong central mystery. Vilangu turns out to be a compelling series that is absolutely worth your time thanks to a potent adversary, surprising turns. It also serves as a fitting return for the extraordinarily gifted Vemal.
