Montu Pilot Season 2 Web Series Review

In the boring moments, character performers Subrat Datta and Kanchan Mullick work some charm, but they are limited by the mediocrity around them. In the whole series, Chandrayee Ghosh receives the most intriguing part that allows her acting proclivity to be fully explored. The background, though, is not given the attention it merits.

The majority of the characters in the series often debate profound ideas like love, betrayal, and grief. Montu, the main character around whom the whole program is centered, is the least endearing of all. You aren’t really interested in what the character is thinking since the actor playing him or the character itself is gone on the screen. Even though each episode is just approximately 20 minutes long, they still seem rushed and hardly impart any meaningful information.

Surprisingly, the element that keeps the program together when the performers or the plot let it down is the music. Montu Pilot would have passed muster if only the plot had been a little bit more engaging and less antiquated. The conversation is passable, if not spectacular, and there are many expletives used to convey a character’s annoyance. The filmmaking lacks taste. Other than sporadic efforts to express a metaphor, the environment does not add much visually to the experience.
