The events involving the couple’s three children are hysterically humorous and very entertaining, particularly when the pair meets with the different boyfriends of their daughters Dia and Jia. The scenes make one laugh out at the ridiculousness of the parents and their unabashed joy in controlling their children’s life to lead them in the path they feel fit a direction that is often erroneous and misguided, if one may add.
The phrases are sharp as a whip and dripping with brilliant humour. We laughed out as Rishabh snuck insinuations at the Doctor for his pricey consultations. We’ll confess that the first few episodes tended toward boredom, but the series picks up speed in the next few episodes and becomes noticeably funnier and weirder as it goes along, making us happy we stuck with it all the way to the conclusion.
