Kannamoochi Web Series Release and OTT Response

On March 13, 2020, the series was made available.  The world of online shows keeps surprising us in good ways. Sure, there are still certain aspects of the material that are rusty, including some really basic ones like acting, production design, and cinematography, but I actually like appreciate the creative flexibility it gives some filmmakers.

Kannamoochi Web Series Review

The episode was well shot, and the music composed by Sundaramurthy and written by Prasanna S. Kumar greatly aided the work of the writer and director.

A few scenarios are created to frighten the audience. Unfortunately, the thrill/horror parts are poorly executed since they use stale techniques. Furthermore, one may conclude that towards the conclusion of this series, several highly intriguing characters are left underdeveloped and want to have their psyches probed further. However, the scary demeanor of the paedophile villain persona is quite well-designed. Radhakrishnan, the actor, deserves praise for practically embracing the part. It is a bit unsettling when quiet and spooky coexist. And this benefits the conclusion of the deed.

Poorna gives an excellent performance as the bereaved mother, demonstrating her ability to bear and portray such a hefty role. She displays amazing bravery in enduring the agony on her face. She makes it seem genuine and runs the performance by herself.

While Kannamoochi does travel a rocky route, the writing does sometimes serve a purpose and is commendable. It does work nicely when some of it really transfers to the screen. We cringe, though, when it doesn’t.
