Delhi Crime Web Series Storyline

Based on true events from 2012, when the tragic attack of a young woman on a bus revealed the Indian government’s and police’s complicity in crimes against women, Delhi Crime Story is a rip-from-the-headlines crime thriller that pays homage to the American tradition of torn crime dramas. Richie Mehta, an Indo-Canadian filmmaker, takes a caring look at law and order in a developing world, presenting a terrible crime with realism and a feeling of justice. DCP Vartika Chaturvedi assigns only her closest trustworthy officers to conduct an investigation after two victims of a heinous crime are discovered on the side of the road. Vartika’s team focuses on pinpointing the specific bus where the incident occurred because they have few leads. Backlash against the police is sparked by media disclosures. When bus driver Jai Singh is grilled more, disturbing information about the night of the crime emerge.

Delhi Crime Web Series Review

Richie Mehta’s criminal drama series Delhi Crime defies the clichés created by previous famous crime dramas. The documentary, which follows the circumstances that led to the arrest of the perpetrators in the horrifying 2012 Delhi gang rape case, is difficult to watch which is precisely why it is vital. Mehta depicts the distressing facts in a rough way that comes near to capturing the general public’s collective terror in real life.

However, the show does not present the police force in an impartial light. The cops, in Mehta’s opinion, are mostly guided by an inner sense of responsibility. The great main characters go above and beyond to fulfill their responsibilities and flush out the crooks from their hideouts. In the same way, the death sentence is unmistakably depicted as the pinnacle of justice. This raises the issue of the portrayal’s legitimacy in the contemporary day, when voices opposing the force’s uncontrolled authority are growing in number. While it may be dismissed as a subjective depiction of a dubious organization, these are the questions that stick out in a review of the series.
