Bloody Brothers is a fun comedy about what siblings do for one another, despite this annoying aspect and a propensity to tie almost every character into a bigger plot. The drama pours forth dark humour, well-observed characters, and crisp performances as the web of falsehoods that Jaggi and Daljeet have created starts to choke them.
Ahlawat plays the advocate who utilises his persuasive abilities to talk himself out of dilemmas with a surprising brutality and unexpected sensitivity. Jaggi’s strong love for his younger sister is never in question, but Daljeet’s fumbling acts regularly put it in jeopardy.
