Storyline
This comedy series follows two neighbouring couples, the Mishras and the Tiwaris, whose husbands are drawn to each other’s wives and try a variety of ultimately futile and funny methods to attract them. The programme is set in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, in the fictional “Modern Colony.” Vibhuti Narayan Mishra and Manmohan Tiwari, the husbands, are bored with their relationships and, unknowing to each other, are charmed with one other’s wives. Angoori Tiwari is a humble and innocent woman whose husband Manmohan Tiwari is a prosperous undergarment merchant.
