Ben Stokes started his cricket career for Durham. He then went on to play in the 2010 Under-19 World Cup, during which he scored a century against India. After that, he joined  Melbourne Renegades for the big bash league. In the 2017 IPL auction, he was bought by Rising Pune supergiants for 14.5 crores.
