Shane Watson is not bowling for his team Chennai Super Kings. Fans are excited to know the reason behind this.
He did not bowl a single ball in the last season of IPL. In an interview, Shane Watson confirmed that he is suffering from a calf injury and therefore he cannot bowl in further matches.
Shane is fit to bat only this season. Stephen Fleming further stated that Watson is one of the top players on his team. He bowled only one over in 2019 as he had to do so.
He also said that he does not want to risk Shane Watson during the tournament and therefore wants him to bat now.
Watson was also on break due to the pandemic.
